vintage bass bow, higher model, 182g, flamed wood

Higher than modern German bows, this unstamped bass bow possibly dates from early to mid 20th century. It is in very good condition, the screw works as it should and there is a lot of hair, so the bow is immediately playable.

The flamed ("tiger striped") wood of the stick is quite remarkable.

Frog height = 55 mm (67 mm to top of stick)
