AP All Purposes Alumium Wrap

„For the wrapping I use a special aluminium alloy which, due to its low weight and extremely fast sound passage, gives a tone colouring that is important for excellent audibility of the string. The proportion of medium frequencies is high. AP fits best to instruments that sound very dark, I would not recommend the set for nasal basses.
With the strings a very lively bowed sound can be achieved, but it does not mix well with steel stringed basses in the classical orchestra bass groups. Please notice: AP can blacken the fingers.“

Diese Saiten erzeugen wenig Druck auf die Decke des Basses und somit kann sich der Klang mit Wärme und einem langen Sustain entfalten.

Marke sonores. Diese Saiten werden von Gerold Genssler in Handarbeit in Berlin hergestellt. Für mich die besten Saiten für Kontrabaß.

E-, A- und D- Saite sind gebraucht und in einem gutem Zustand, die G-Saite ist komplett neu und wurde nicht aufgezogen.
